AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS


• All participants must register, using a valid form of identification, before the auction begins. A refundable surety deposit of R500 is payable with registration.


• All goods are sold voetstoots. It is the client’s responsibility to evaluate the item thoroughly.


• The auctioneer cannot be held responsible or accountable for advertising the item or discussing any probable malfunctions or damage.


• The highest accepted bidder shall be the purchaser immediately once the auctioneer declares the item sold.


• Auctioneers’ decision is final and reserves the right to:


-SETTLE A DISPUTE DURING THE BIDDING PROCESS.


-Refuse a bid or withdraw an item at any time without notice or explanation.


• Payment is due immediately after the auction unless other arrangements have been made.


• Accepted methods of payment include cash, credit and debit cards or bank transfers.


• Payment must reflect and be made in full before collecting of goods.


• Buyers are responsible for collection of purchased items within 3 working days after the auction or storage fees may apply.


• Any items left uncollected after a certain period may be forfeited.


• All purchases will be subject to a 10% buyers’ premium.


• An admin fee of R1500 will be charged on the sale of any vehicle with natis document.


• Auction will be excluding VAT unless stated otherwise in the catalogue or by the auctioneer.


• The Auction house and auctioneer are not responsible for any damage to or loss of items after the sale.


• The purchaser shall be bound by all the terms and conditions mentioned and will forfeit the deposit on the default of compliance thereof.
